Ms. Kim’s scientific experience is in the areas of microbial and mammalian biology. As a graduate student, she studied the regulation of the chloramphenicol acetyltransferase gene in Bacillus subtilis. She then worked as a research scientist studying the developmental expression of thyrotropin releasing hormone in mammalian systems. Ms. Kim is a co-author of eleven publications resulting from her scientific research.
Ms. Kim was an editor of the Journal of International Law and Trade. She speaks conversational Korean.
